Nic Skovgaard is a dynamic and accomplished speaker with a wealth of experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing, motivation, entrepreneurship, and business coaching. As the owner of three successful companies - AlterEgo Marketing, Grayson Investments, and Sanctum Holdings - Nic has a proven track record of success in the business world.

With a background in marketing, consulting and entrepreneurship, Nic holds a degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and has completed the Dale Carnegie Sales Training, the Wizard Academy's Magical Worlds program, and the Leadership Carbondale program. He is also a graduate of the Small Business Administration's Streetwise MBA program.

Nic has a wealth of speaking experience, having delivered keynote addresses and presentations at events such as the Business Builders Breakfast, Carbondale Young Professionals, Success in Sales at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, and the Mt. Vernon Chamber of Commerce, among others. He is also a former facilitator for the Midland Institute of Entrepreneurship’s Jackson County CEO program and was a featured speaker for the American Marketing Association at SIUC, the Future Business Leaders of America, the Boots to Business program, and the SIU Marketing Department.

As an expert in the future of vertical video and how it will reshape the marketing landscape, Nic has been recognized and featured in local, national and international publications such as the SIU Alumni Association, The Southern Illinoisan, and The Southern Business Journal.

Nic currently lives in Herrin Illinois with his wife Nancy and his four children.
